This is the first picture of me. With my mom and my five siblings.
| Hi, I'm Mike. I've been living at Andrea's and Uwe's place since Sept 9th, 1998. I was born at a farm at the Lüneburger Heide (North Germany). One summer Andrea and Uwe spent their vacation at our farm. That's when they discovered me and fell in love with me. Needless to say that at the end of their vacation they put me in a little shoebox and off we went to Bavaria :) When we finally got there, I noticed that there was already a bunny girl at their place. Möhrchen, a black beauty. In the beginning we didn't like each other, but then it was love at second sight. I had to go to the Vet first to get fixed though. So we lived together in Adelsried for 3 years. During the day we were either running around in the house or in the back yard (under supervision, of course). At night we slept in the dining room. In separate cages, because Möhrchen was a very fast eater and I would've been starved if we would've stayed together. And the other reason was that Möhrchen loved to sleep long, and I'm a morning bunny. On July 18th, 2001 we packed all our stuff and moved with Andrea and Uwe to San Francisco. That was an exciting trip. We moved into a new house, were no bunny has ever lived in. It was a lot of work to mark every single corner! At this time Möhrchen already started to feel very sick. The Vet put her on antibiotics and steroids, and she got a little better. But after a while even the pills didn't help her. Two month after our move to California Möhrchen went over the RBB. I was very sad, I didn't come out of my cage and I didn't eat anything either. That's why they went to the HRS and adopted Moki. Moki is also a bunny boy and it's not so easy to get along with him. We are fighting a lot!! Update: 3 month have already passed since Moki moved in and we still don't get along. That's why Andrea and Uwe decided that I should get a bunny girl :-) Luzie moved in yesterday (1/1/2002), I picked her out all by myself at the HRS. She is really a sweetheart, she loves to groom me and also enjoys getting groomed in return. |
