| Hi, my name is Luzie. I'm a "blue silver martin". Sounds fancy, doesn't it? Nobody really knows my age, because I was abandoned in Palo Alto. Lucky me they rescued me and I got to the "House Rabbit Society" in Richmond, California.
I had my first date with Mike on Dezember 31st, 2001. He and Moki were just boarding here at the HRS while Andrea and Uwe were on vacation. On New Years Eve the boys were picked up again, and that was when Andrea discovered me. She thought I would be a nice mate for Mike, since he and Moki didn't get along. We had a little run together but Mike was really afraid of me. Every time I tried to groom him he thumped and ran away. Our first date lasted for 1 1/2 hours. After that Mike and Moki went home. I already thought they don't want me. But Mike and Andrea came back the very next day. Mike was still kinda shy but not as much as they day before. So I decided to give it a try and went home with them.
After the really scary ride home Mike and I moved into one cage together. It was wonderful! We were grooming and snuggling. We even spent the first night together. We've been together ever since. |
